Our goal is to move into our new office space as quickly as possible, though we are approaching this transition with deliberate patience. There are many moving parts involved in setting up a professional environment that serves you best—from configuring secure networks to physically moving. While we are eager to welcome you to our new location, we are taking the necessary time during the off-season to ensure the transition is seamless.
Remote Appointments (Phone/Zoom)
Instead of an in-person office appt, a phone/video appt is available. For this proces we need your tax documents uploaded or received by mail at least 5 business days before your appt. This way, we can organize your tax docs for the Appointment. The process of preparing, organizing & printing your tax documents adds a little labor assumed by our office so we need the time so be ready.
New Or Returning Clients
It is very important to us that our NEW Clients or Clients who are returning after some time away, that we review the past couple of tax returns so that the preparer can be up to speed, and also bring forward anything that needs to be transferred to our Tax Software from prior years. In order to ensure a smooth transition for you and Your Tax Preparer, this process is crucial. We also need to make sure that the appointment or drop-off timeframe is adequate for the preparer. For those who would rather mail us these documents, feel free to do so, mailing to our new mailing address: 27890 Clinton Keith Rd, Murrieta, CA 92562.
Because your data is under threat more and more each day we have to use special secure platforms to protect it from would-be interceptors that are constantly looking to get a hold of our critical data. Our current partnership with Drop Box For Business keeps your data safe and protected either resting in place or while it's being sent to us.
It is also crucial that the documents you send us are not Blurry or too small especially if they are pictures or not in the preferred PDF format. If you need to send us spreadsheets such as Excel, Word, Numbers etc. you can put those into the folder as well but there are times when a preparer may not have access to certain software, Apps or other needed programs.
How Does A Phone/Video Tax Appt Work?
At the time of your scheduled appt your Tax Preparer will connect with you over the phone or by video conference. You should submit your tax documents to us no later than 5 business days prior to your appt using one of the many methods available (i.e. upload, mail)
Your Tax Preparer may use some of the time during your appointment to input your data before calling you, so do not be alarmed if you are not contacted at the beginning of your appt. Similar to an in-person Appt. The Preparer will go over tentative figures with you before ending the call, if possible. Typically, Your Preparer will use e-sign for signatures as well as e-payment links for our invoice & services, or you can pay over the phone. Once your Signatures & Payment is received, your taxes are filed electronically with the Government, and secure copies are sent to you by Email or Mail.
What Is The Process For Uploading/Mailing Our Info?
Uploading, Faxing or mailing us your tax documents are all acceptable ways to get us your tax information. Uploading Documents is a fancy way of saying use our website upload link to send us scanned or saved images of your important Tax Documents. Your pics or documents must be readable.
